Our Floor Length Veils Collection

Here you'll find our current selection of floor length veils. This length is slightly less requested than our other long veils so we don’t have quite as many as our chapel and cathedral length options. But don’t worry if you can’t find a set style floor length veil that meets your exact requirements. You can always “build” your own floor length veil in our Custom Veil Designer, or get in touch to discuss a made-to-order lace veil.

What Is A Floor Length Veil?

A floor length veil is a long wedding veil with a very small puddle train effect. Floor length veils work best with dresses that have little or no train.

If you’re just unsure whether your train qualifies for a floor length veil feel free to get in touch, send us your pictures, and we’ll be happy to help.

How Long Is A Floor Length Veil?

Floor length veils are 78 inches (198.12 cm) long as a single layer, and 108 inches combined length on a two layer veil. The second length includes the 30″ (76.2 cm )of blusher.

Do Floor Length Veils Suit All Dresses?

No, not really. It’s totally up to each bride, of course, but if you have a decent length train we feel it’s best to have a veil that extends beyond that. A floor length veil with a chapel length dress can simply look like you’ve made an error as the veil will end just a few inches shy of the end of your train. This visually cuts across the train and breaks up the beautiful shape. If you don’t want a veil that is longer than your dress but you have a large train, try going up a few lengths to something like fingertip length. This is intentionally much shorter and doesn’t risk it looking like you just made a mistake when ordering

A Floor Length Veil With A Wedding Jumpsuit?

We’ve noticed a lot of wedding dress designers have brought out bridal jumpsuits and trouser separates for 2020. If you’re one of the fashion-forward brides that have opted for one of these, you might be wondering if you could wear a floor length veil with it. For us, we say a very enthusiastic yes! It will almost give you a train effect for the ceremony. One that can be removed later for dancing!
