Popular Types of Beaded Veils
Recently, pearl veils have shot up in popularity massively. Previously, I think due to pearl veils being less sparkly than, say, a diamante veil or a crystal veil, they weren't quite as sought after. But in recent times, suddenly everyone wants a pearl veil! One of our bestselling beaded veils, in fact, is a fingertip length veil with amazing clusters of mixed size pearls.
Wedding veils with crystals continue to be a popular choice with brides who want a more subtle sparkle than wedding veils with diamantes. Diamante veils are the sparkliest veil type of them all.
What dresses will suit a beaded veil?
We know we have our brides out there who love a bit of sparkle — trust me, we're right there with you! But sometimes, it's as if the dress chooses the bride and you might find yourself having fallen in love with a dress that's super simple, classic, yet fits you like a glove. It happens more than you might think! So, if that's you, and you're now worrying that it's all too plain, a beaded veil could be the perfect accessory to help glam it up a little. There's actually nothing more chic, in our opinion, than a simple gown paired with a sparkling diamanté scattered veil. We especially love this look for black-tie and evening weddings.
My dress is already beaded. Should I get a beaded veil?
If your dress is already sparkly, you can go one of two ways with the veil. Keep the veil plain and let the dress do all the talking, or tie in a subtly sparkly veil, maybe with just a light scatter of diamantes, to keep to the theme you've already got going. All brides have their own comfort level when it comes to the amount of bling they enjoy, but with our three standard beading layouts you can adjust that level from a light scatter to catch the light, to full-on “falling stars” for maximum sparkle!
Do you make custom beaded veils?
Of course! We can do a custom bead layout, or different coloured beads to match a headpiece — pretty much anything is possible. Occasionally, we've even been asked to do diamante lettering or monogramming. If custom beading for your veil is something you're interested in, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
