What Is A Chapel Length Veil?

A chapel length veil is a traditional full-length wedding veil that is able to extend past the train on most wedding dresses. Chapel length is easily the most popular size of the long, floor-sweeping veils that we make. That's why we have more chapel length veils than any of our other long veil lengths. We like to give our brides more of what they like!

Although they're the most popular, chapel length veils are not the longest veils we make — that honour falls to cathedral length. But it is the size of the train most often seen on today's wedding dresses.

Do Chapel Length Veils Suit All Dresses?

We think they do, yes! Although we may be slightly biased. And by slightly we mean extremely because we do love a long veil! But in our experience, we've only ever seen a dress enhanced by a beautiful long veil. They add softness, romance and elegance, and because they spread out on the floor, they actually become sheerer, and show more of the back of the dress, than a short veil whose layers tend to hang all together in a bunch.

How Long Is A Chapel Length Veil?
